Our Juneteenth Celebration at Bronson Park is a free, family-friendly event uplifting Black liberation through music, dance, food, and local vendors. Rooted in cultural joy and healing, it brings together the Kalamazoo community in celebration and unity.
African Masquerade Gala
Our African Masquerade Fundraiser Gala is an elegant evening of culture, rhythm, and community care. Through music, dance, and storytelling, this celebration uplifts Black excellence, honors changemakers, and strengthens collective healing across the Kalamazoo community.
Youth Showcase
Celebrate the creativity, rhythm, and brilliance of Kalamazoo’s youth as Rootead Youth Drum and Dance Ensemble take the stage. This inspiring showcase highlights young performers ages 13–18, honoring the beauty and rhythm of the West African diaspora.
