Summary
Summer Camp 2024 - Week One
Rootead Summer Camp is for youth ages 5 - 12. Youth will learn the fundamentals of West African Drum & Dance, make African-inspired crafts, learn Mancala - the oldest game in the world! Each summer camp Friday, the youth will share what they've learned with their families at showcase/celebration!
There will be three weeks of Summer Camp this year. This registration is for Week One, and the dates are:
Monday, June 24 - Friday, June 28
9:00am - 4:00pm
Snacks are provided, but youth will need to bring a cold, packed lunch. The cost of the summer camp is $200/week. Scholarships are available at rootead.org.
