What is Roots of Liberation?  

Roots of Liberation is a six-month cohort immersion program to gain tools of liberation for people of the global majority.  At the completion of the 6-month cohort you will have more knowledge of self, your purpose, passion, and gifts. You will gather tools for nervous system regulation and liberation. You will be in a position to ripple out your learnings to your family, friends and colleagues.  And you will receive a certification upon completion of this course.

• Ancestral healing - to disrupt generational burdens, health issues and cultural harms. 

• African based somatic experiencing - trauma release movements and flows 

• Neuro-physio-biology - understanding the mind, body and nature connection. 

• Anatomy - understand the functions of the nervous system, muscular system and endocrine system. 

• Animism - learning about the ancient teachings of nature. 

• 8 limbs of yoga - understand the depth and science (not just the poses!) 

• Alchemy/Energy - learn the techniques of quantum mechanics and elemental resourcing. 

• Geomancy - learning how to set up environments to support your system. 

• Rest & Healing - understanding how rest is productive and the antidote to colonization.

We will meet for 6 weekends and have some self-led work in between each gathering.  

Virtual:  Fridays, 5:00pm - 8:00pm

In person:  Saturdays, 10:00am - 5:00pm & Sundays, 10:00am - 3:00pm

June 21, 22, 23 - Rest & Healing

We are a grassroots organization committed to access and reducing barriers to liberation, yet we still need to keep the lights on. This course’s value is $3,000, and a fee of $300 will be due to reserve your space. To make the course more accessible to our community, we offer payment plans and scholarships for the remaining $2,700.
